PATRONS WITH DISABILITIES INFORMATION
The Amway Arena is a 17,500-seat, multi-use sports/entertainment
facility managed by the City of Orlando’s Orlando
Venues Department. Orlando Venues schedules, operates
and maintains the City’s public assembly facilities.
Its mission is to provide a broad spectrum of entertainment
including theatrical, cultural and sporting events
that will attract people from all ethnic groups and
ages. By making its facilities “user friendly”
to patrons, Orlando Venues strives to provide the
community with a clean, pleasant and safe environment
to come together with their families and peers for
the purpose of entertainment and public forum.
As management of the Amway Arena, we are dedicated
to providing enjoyment of our events for current and
potential patrons including the disabled in our community.
To achieve this, we have reviewed the Americans with
Disabilities Act (ADA) and worked with several disabled
agencies to review our building for compliance and
to establish policies and procedures to address the
needs of the disabled community.
